If you did believe
As well as I do
About the world around you
About the people and
The places and
The waters that we race to
You would believe
Every little thing I see too
That there is perfect in a grain
So small to see the roughness in
And you would see
That everybody is worth it
To be in your scene
The kind you molded
As you're growing older
And getting smarter
Getting better at feeding
Your head and your heart
You're learning to start
To trust your instincts
But never hinder them too far
And you will believe
As well as me that there is
A trusting feeling in here
Outside, it's so right
Just open you eyes and taste it
It's in the night air
No fears by our beach chairs
Salt is on my skin and hair
And in your eyes I see it
Crystallized in the sunlight
Making every sight tonight
A blurry feeling, but it's all right
We're gonna go until the sun rise
This time
I believed everything
And it turned out to be true
No more fear in me
Just a smile in here
And the night sky, this time
It's a clear to me as day light
this is really good. thats what poetry really is
