The Forest

I sit and ponder
then begin to wander
into the forest
to find my best
I pass many trees
get on my knees
and hope for it
then I sit
cross my legs
forget the dregs
raise my hands
forsake these lands
close my eyes
forget the lies
forgive and forget
my mind is set
